Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) in New Haven, CT achieved polished concrete flooring by resurfacing the existing concrete floors with Pentimento. Pentimento is a semi-self-leveling cementitious overlay that is engineered for high-traffic, commercial, interior floors, as well as, residential, concrete surfaces.
It creates a smooth surface for other flooring treatments to be applied. In the images below the decorative concrete flooring contains hues of greens, yellows and browns which perfectly compliment the building’s colorful interior.
