Perdure HBE, epoxy coating system consists application of at least three coats ( 2 epoxy coats and one coat of polyurethane or polyaspartic topcoat) to achieve a total thickness of 18-20 mil. If the concrete substrate is not leveled, then application of Param 5500, self leveling concrete is recommended.
The installation steps involve –
- After surface preparation, apply Param 5500, self leveling concrete, if neccessary
- Apply one coat of Perdure E02, 100% solids epoxy primer
- Apply one or two coats of Perdure E20, 1005 solids epoxy body coat (lighter colors may require application of two coats)
- Apply one coat of Perdure U90, moisture cured polyurethane or Perdure P90, 90% solids polyaspartic topcoat
