The project featured here is a concrete floor that needed resurfacing and change from the previous color. The client, Wine Chateau of Metuchen NJ, wanted a seamless floor, free of any trowel marks. The solution was to spray a concrete micro-topping.

Prior to application colorant was mixed into the concrete overlay material. The spray on application took a mere 2 hours to resurface 7,000 square feet while requiring a team of only 5. Technological improvements of products, tools and application methods have really changed over the years.This system is fast, durable, with unlimited decorative options. For this project the color was a soft earth tone with subtle artistic shapes giving the floor custom design and character. While the system was being applied “Cast On” was applied consisting of marble and glass aggregate. It was sanded the next day resulting in a unique decor.
To seal and protect the surface our Perdure E32 epoxy was applied followed by 2 coats of Perdure U45, a water based polyurethane.
